TOM HIDDLESTON ON SAYING GOODBYE TO ‘LOKI', SAYING HELLO AGAIN TO ‘THE NIGHT MANAGER', AND TALES OF WORKING WITH WOODY, GUILLERMO, AND SPIELBERG – THE ACTOR'S SIDE

Tom Hiddleston had found new levels of stardom and a whole new legion of fans that he might never have anticipated when he started playing the iconic member of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Loki who made his first appearance 14 years ago on the big screen in Thor and now, apparently (maybe?) has taken his final bow in the smash hit Disney + series, Loki. This celebrated British actor has had great previous success on screen , television, and stage, but nothing with the longevity in playing a single character like this in so many iterations. He joins me for this week’s edition of my Deadline video series, The Actor’s Side to talk about it , and so much more.

Hiddleston has been in several movies before, and during the period he played Loki including working memorably for Steven Spielberg as the lead in War Horse; playing F. Scott Fitzgerald for Woody Allen in the Oscar winning Midnight In Paris (which starred his Loki co-star Owen Wilson); starred for Guillermo del Toro in the gothic horror film, Crimson Peak, and so many more. He has much to say about working with all three of those remarkable filmmakers. We also talk about his Golden Globe winning and Emmy nominated success starring in the global hit Limited series, The Night Manager in 2016, and now confirms he is coming back for two more seasons of the show that should get underway later this year. He also talks about his love for the stage and the many roles, Shakespearean and otherwise he has played.

And then there is Loki. Lots to say here so to watch our conversation and get the ‘actor’s side’ of it all from Tom Hiddleston just click the link above.

Join me every Wednesday during Emmy Season for another edition of The Actor’s Side.
